Price Sources & Currency

Grimoria supports multiple price providers, tiers, and currencies.

Price Providers

Choose from four price data providers:

• TCGPlayer — The largest US card marketplace (USD)
• Cardmarket — The largest European marketplace (EUR)
• Card Kingdom — US retailer pricing (USD)
• Cardhoarder — MTGO digital card pricing (TIX/USD)

Price Tiers

Each provider supports up to four pricing tiers:

• Low — The lowest available listing price
• Average — Mean of recent sales
• Market — Market price based on recent transactions
• Buylist — What stores are willing to pay (useful for selling)

Not all tiers are available for every provider. The tier dropdown automatically shows only the tiers supported by your selected provider.

Setting Your Preference

Go to Settings > Currency & Price Source to choose your preferred provider and tier. Your preference is used across all of Grimoria — collection values, deck prices, wishlist costs, price monitor alerts, and financial analytics.

On the Financial page, you can also temporarily switch provider and tier for the current session without changing your saved preference.

Fallback Chain

If your preferred provider or tier isn't available for a specific card (e.g. a card not listed on Card Kingdom), Grimoria automatically falls back to the next available price source.

Price Updates

Prices are synced hourly from multiple data sources (Scryfall, MTGJSON, TCGCSV). The last sync time is shown in the dashboard.
