Offline Mode

Use Grimoria without an internet connection on the native app.

What Works Offline

The native app downloads a complete copy of the card database (100,000+ cards) to your device. When offline, you can:

• Browse your full collection
• Search and view any card in the database
• Add and edit cards in your collection
• Build and modify decks
• Scan cards using the local hash database
• View card prices (last cached values)

How Sync Works

Changes you make while offline are queued automatically. When you reconnect:

1. Your pending changes are sent to the server

2. Any changes from other devices are pulled down

3. Conflicts (if any) are resolved automatically or presented for your review

Data Download

On first launch, the app downloads:

• Card database: ~100K cards with images, rulings, and legalities
• Image hashes: For the camera scanner to work offline
• Price data: Latest prices from all providers

This initial download requires a Wi-Fi connection and may take a few minutes. After that, only incremental updates are needed.
