Card Conditions

Requires account

Grimoria tracks the condition of every card so values stay accurate.

Condition Grades

From best to worst:

  • Mint — Perfect, as if just pulled from a pack
  • Near Mint — Minimal wear; the default for most cards
  • Excellent — Light wear, still very clean
  • Good — Noticeable wear on edges or surface
  • Light Played — Clear wear but undamaged
  • Played — Heavy wear
  • Poor — Major damage (creases, tears, water)

Why Condition Matters

  • Value — Market prices assume Near Mint; lower grades are worth less.
  • Trading & selling — Accurate grades set fair expectations.

Setting Condition

Pick a condition when adding a card, or edit it later from the Card Details modal. Each copy (instance) tracks its own condition, so the same card can be Near Mint in one binder and Played in another.
