Deck Boxes vs Binders
Requires account
Two ways to organize owned cards — and how they differ from Deckbuilder decks.
Binders
Binders are loose containers for grouping owned cards by theme — a trade binder, a foil binder, a stack of staples. A card sits in one binder at a time.
Collection Deck Boxes
Deck boxes (Collection > Decks) represent your physical, built decks — the actual cards sleeved up on your shelf. Like binders, they hold cards you own, and a card lives in exactly one place.
Deckbuilder Decks Are Different
The Deckbuilder (a separate section) is for *designing* decklists — it doesn't require owning the cards, supports any format, and adds synergy, graph, and power-level analysis. Think of it as the blueprint; the collection deck box is the real cards.
Which to Use
- Organizing owned cards loosely → Binder
- Tracking a physical built deck → Deck box
- Designing or theorycrafting a list → Deckbuilder
