Scanning Without an Account

You can use the scanner on the Grimoria mobile app without creating an account.

How Guest Scanning Works

Open the app, tap the search/camera button, and start scanning. No login required. Scanned cards are saved to a temporary local list on your device.

What You Can Do as a Guest

• Scan cards — Identify any Magic card instantly
• View card details — See prices, set info, printings, and rulings
• Build a scan list — Cards accumulate in a list you can review
• Edit card details — Change quantity, condition, language, and foil status

Saving Your Scanned Cards

To save scanned cards to a permanent collection, you'll need to create an account. The scan list shows a Log In / Sign Up prompt at the bottom.

After logging in, you're taken back to the scanner with your previously scanned cards still intact. Just tap Add to Collection to import them.

Data Persistence

Your temporary scan list is stored locally on your device and persists across app restarts. It won't be lost if you close the app or come back later — take your time deciding whether to create an account.
