Deck Ideas, Deck Boxes & Reconcile
A Deckbuilder idea is the blueprint; a deck box in your collection is the sleeved cards. Grimoria links the two and keeps them honest.
Linking
Building a deck from your collection (see Building from Your Collection) creates a deck box linked to the idea. From then on:
- Rows in the idea show a deck box capsule — which copies the box holds and which are still missing
- The deck box gets board tabs (mainboard, sideboard…) derived from the idea
- A link icon on both pages is colour-coded by how far the two have drifted apart
Reconcile
When the idea and the box no longer match — you edited the list, or moved cards out of the box — a Deckbox mismatch sheet opens. For every difference you choose:
- Box → idea — Add what is in the box to the list
- Idea → box — Assign copies you own (you pick which ones) or record the missing entries
- Remove or Skip — Skipped rows stay skipped until you decide otherwise
Match idea to box rewrites the idea to mirror the box in one go, after a confirmation that lists what would be removed. It only edits the idea — your owned cards are untouched.
Still Missing?
After building, or at any time, Add missing to wishlist puts the cards you still need on a wishlist. The automatic Missing from decks wishlist tracks this for every deck at once — see Automatic Wishlists. Moving single copies between boxes is Quick Move.
