Creating a Deck

Build decks for any Magic format in Grimoria's deck builder.

Starting a New Deck

Go to Deckbuilder and click + New Deck. You'll set:

• Deck name — Give your deck a memorable name
• Format — Commander, Modern, Standard, Pioneer, Legacy, and more
• Commander — If building a Commander deck, select your commander first
• Description — Optional notes about your deck's strategy

Adding Cards

Click Add Cards to open the three-path picker:

• Search — The full card search with advanced filters and key:value syntax
• Synergy — Browse the Encyclopedia's features (ramp, sacrifice payoffs, token makers…) filtered to your colours
• Bulk Add — Paste a list

Picked cards go into a basket; a review step shows the staged list next to a live deck impact preview before anything is added. Each card goes into the mainboard by default; move cards between boards from the row's menu.

The Editor

The editor is organised in tabs — Cards, Categories, Stats, Mana Fixing, Synergy, Combos, Tokens, Suggestions, Primer and, once you have edited something, Changes. All analysis runs on the live, unsaved list. On the Cards tab:

• Switch the board between list, grid, stacked, text and graph views, and group cards by type, mana cost, colour, rarity or category
• Search the current board to find a card in a long list
• The View panel toggles price, mana cost, status badges and categories per row
• Pop the stats, combos and tokens out into a companion window to keep them beside the list on a second screen

Copies You Own

When the deck is linked to a deck box, rows show a deck box capsule: which copies are in the box and which are still missing. See Deck Ideas, Deck Boxes & Reconcile.

Pinned Deck

Pin a deck to the Pinned Pool to keep it one tap away — your changes are saved automatically. When you're done, you can save it to your deck list.

Undo/Redo

Made a mistake? Use Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo. Your edit history is preserved within the session, and Before & After shows everything the session has changed.

Duplicating a Deck

Duplicate any deck — yours or a public one — into your ideas. When duplicating, you can ask for the printings you own in your collection to be used where possible.
