Get AI-powered card recommendations for your deck.
How Suggestions Work
Grimoria's suggestion engine analyzes your deck's:
- Commander (for EDH decks)
- Color identity
- Card types and themes
- Mana curve
Based on this, it suggests cards that commonly appear in similar decks.
The Suggestions Tab
The deck page's Suggestions tab aggregates recommendations across your whole deck. Filter by type, price tier, mana value or owned only. Each row carries a synergy badge showing how well the card connects to the rest of the deck. If you own the deck, Add or Replace a suggestion right there — with the deck impact preview and a printing picker before it lands.
Budget Alternatives
For expensive cards in your deck, the suggestion panel shows budget alternatives — cheaper cards that serve a similar role. These are powered by our Neo4j similarity engine.
Card Differences
Toggle Show differences in the suggestions panel to see at-a-glance comparison chips showing how each suggestion differs from your current cards — mana value, keywords, power/toughness, price, and more. This works in both the sidebar panel and the full suggestions modal.
Synergy Search
In the picker, the Synergy path browses the Encyclopedia's features — token makers, sacrifice payoffs, ramp — filtered to your colours, so you can fill a role rather than hunt for a name.
EDHREC Data
For Commander decks, suggestions include EDHREC synergy data showing which cards are most commonly played with your commander.
